My most sincere sympathies to the Barnes family. The loss of such a special person is always most difficult, however it is truly the great things about her and the special things she has done that becomes the true importance. May family celebrate all her goodness and love of their special mother, taking comfort in her final resting.
Again my condolences and thoughts are with you all.

Gail, Debbie, George, Bob and all the, rather large, extended Barnes family, our deepest condolences. Your Mom was great, always smiling, positive and a genuinely fun person to be around. Without any hesitation we can say we both liked her so much. She will be missed and remembered fondly by many for years to come.
I always liked talking with her whenever I came back homewards; she was always ready with questions about what I'd been up to and, sometimes surprisingly, so encouraging with my responses. I guess my only regret in is not forcing her to give me that baseball picture of her from the '40s and publishing it ... maybe we can now. It was fun teasing her about it for years.
Our best to you all and our deepest condolences.

My heart felt prayers and condolences go out to the family. Aunt Helen was responsible for me getting to know my biological sisters and brother while I was in my 60s.So wonderful. Aunt Helen was a beautiful person inside and out. We have lived in the Bahamas and British Columbia over the past 60 years, so have missed all the happy and sad times.

Our sincere sympathy in the loss of your Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. We have so many memories through the years of the wonderful woman that Aunt Helen was. We had a lot of family gatherings, vacations and fun visits. She loved to entertain and made the best pastry and always used real china. She put family first and always made you feel welcome with a pot of tea and snack. She was honest, funny, down to earth and up on current events. She enjoyed herself wherever she went and lived life to the fullest. Her legacy will live on in her grandchildren and great grandchildren in your ever-expanding family. Rest in peace and we will never forget you.
