Obituary of James (Jim) Esson

ESSON, James (Jim) Peacefully at Arbour Creek L.T.C. on Monday, May 9, 2011, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Jean. Loved father of Sharon (Eric) Smith, Judith (Barry) Ward, Bonnie Esson (John), Nancy (John) Schweiker. Loving grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 11. Survived by his sister-in-law Elizabeth Forsyth and many nieces and nephews. Jim was a retired employee of Firestone and he enjoyed life. Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of Jim’s life at Stoney Creek Baptist Church, 79 Collegiate Ave., Stoney Creek on Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. In Jim’s memory, donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
