Obituary of Nettie Slobodian

SLOBODIAN, Nettie (nee Gurski) It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Nettie on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Michael (Mike) for almost 68 years. Cherished mother of Mary Jane Raspor (Charles), and Susan Ann Carman (Bennett). Loving Baba to grandchildren Erin, Kimberly, Michael, Amanda (Shawn), and Andrew. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Andrew Gurski. Dear sister of the late Olga (the late Stan), the late Sadie (the late Mike), the late John (Pearl), Annie (the late Pete), Tillie (Mike). She will also be remembered by other family and friends. Funeral Service will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
