Obituary of William Henry Holland

HOLLAND, William Henry “Willy” Passed away peacefully at Baywoods Place Nursing Home in Hamilton on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the age of 85. Beloved husband to Radmila S. Holland and the late Mary Elizabeth (2005). Step-Father to John Manary (Pat), Joan Akey (Dale) of Niagara Falls, Brenda Paknis (the late Gordon) of Hamilton, Russell Manary (Delane) of Winnipeg, and the late Randy Manary. Proud grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother to the late Margaret Dawson (Murray), and the late Tommy Holland (Shirley). William was a proud step-father to Aleksandar Stevanovic (Danijela Jeremic) and their children Milica, Anastasija, and Filip, as well as a step-father to Snezana Stevanovic. Brother-in-law to Milanka Zivanovic and her children Zivka and Bobby. William will be missed by friends John and Mary, Peter, and also many other friends in Canada and Serbia. William’s family would like to thank the staff at Baywoods Place Nursing Home for their compassionate care. As per William’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be private family services held at a later date. Memorial donations in William’s memory, if desired, may be directed to a charity of choice.
