Obituary of David Frederick Emberley

EMBERLEY, David Frederick It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of David Frederick Emberley. David passed away peacefully at their cottage in Parry Sound on Thursday, July 16, 2009 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Doreen (nee Corcoran) of 53 years. Loving father of Keith (Marilyn), David (Heather), Clifford (Debbie), Patricia (Herb Hildebrandt), Lorraine (Barb Payment), Kathy Emberley-Wilton (Anthony Rego), Joyce (Darko Bujan) and Debbie. Grandfather of 13 beautiful grandchildren and blessed with 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Hazel and Kenneth and his brother Everton. David was a retired employee of Dofasco with 37 years of service. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow.
