Obituary of Daisy "Jane" Harber

HARBER, Daisy “Jane” Gone to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at The Meadows Long Term Care, Ancaster, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Ernest Harber (1982). Cherished mother of Audrey (Norman) Hockridge, Ron (Dale), Ken (Judy), Thomas (Rachelle), Lila-Jane (Rob) MacLeod. Devoted Nana of Glenn, Adrianne, Ron, Julie, Kyle, Kirk, Blair, Alexander, Nicholas and 10 great-grandchildren. Jane had a love for music. She had volunteered for 25 years playing the piano at Henderson Hospital. She was also an active member of Ryerson United Church where she would sing in the choir and play piano. Special thanks to the staff at The Meadows and to Rev. Peter Cowley and the UCW at Ryerson United for all of the visits and kind remembrances. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Fifty Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
