Met Ty at the Glanbrook arena in Binbrook. Thought that he was tough & grumpy at first, but finally got to know the real Ty and we had some fun together. I even went as far as to tease him into having a debate on just about everything and always took the opposite side just to get him riled up.
I am very glad that I got to know him and his smile was amazing. Told him that he didn't smile enough "you handsome devil".
When he transferred out, I didn't see him too often. Would watch him cutting grass or doing jobs around the city sometimes. But I would always look,just in case I did get to see him.
Very saddened by his passing. He talked a lot about his family and his dogs and his hunting and his visits to the Apple Farm in the Fall.
Shared some homemade venison stew with him when he found out that I hadn't eaten any supper,but had come right from work to the arena.
Yes, many were not lucky enough to have got to really know him,but I was. He was my FRIEND.
