Dear Nik and George,
My condolences to the two of you, and Helen's other extended family.
She was a very loving mother.
She was also an extraordinary chef.
May we cherish her memory by all doing as many positive acts as possible for others, and in doing so show by example, how we as humans need to be loving and supportive of each other.
She loved all of her family deeply, and I am grateful to have known and been loved by her too.

My condolences to the immediate and extend Rasula families.
She deeply loved her family, and was proud of all of her family members, and graciously treated me in the same way.
Furthermore, her culinary skills were world class.
She was a very determined and loving woman who touched many, and will be remembered with fondness and missed.
May her memory go on through our endeavouring to spread positivity and love through our actions.
I thank her here for her love.

In stiller Trauer,
Erwin Julian

When I met Helen, I was only in grade 9. Out of respect for our elders, she was Teta (Auntie) Helen to me. She quickly earned that respect. It was on that first meeting that she left an beautiful impression that would transcend over 4 decades. It was thanks to her that I got my first job, shortly after we met. One may not think that pumping gas was significant, but it turned out that it was the opportunity that helped to define my life. Life skills that opened opportunities later in life. As much as I worked, I was treated like one of Teta Helen's own children. I will never forget the wonderful family Sunday meals that Teta Helen made for her family. She would send out a plate for me and made sure I could enjoy it by sending Frank to pump the gas while I ate. Over the years, the love that she showed me never decreased. Teta Helen may not have been my aunt by family. Teta Helen was like a true family member. Nik,I still recall when you came over to ask me to be your best man. We talked like brothers and covered so much ground, and then when when all seemed done, you said, the real reason I came to talk to you. Thanks to Teta Helen, both you and George felt like brothers to me. The 3 of you were like my extended family Like a child accomplishing something good, it was special to share my accomplishments with her. She reciprocated. I thank the Lord for bringing her into my life. I will deeply miss Teta Helen and will always cherish her in my heart. Memory eternal. Nik, George and the rest of the Rasula family, I share your sorrow, but rest assured, we have gained a new "Angel" that will watch for ever. God Bless you Teta Helen.

Dear Nik, George and Family,
our condolences for the loss of a truly great and loving mother, mentor and the connection to our families life's.
Ilonka was the reason I immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1987 and for that I will forever thank her.
Ilonka always had a close bond with my mother, Elisabeth Korponai in Germany, till the last week's of Ilonkas life they talked often on the phone and in the early years visited often. My mother then exchanged news to our old village in Beodra where the church bells will ring on the day of Ilonkas funeral, same church she was baptized in.
I will cherish the memories of conversations, advice to every problem of life and precious recipes, like for preserving dill pickles that will be our forever favorite.

I am so very sorry about your mother's passing. I really respected her. Ilonka was a very strong, hard-working, good woman. I'm grateful that I had a chance to visit with her recently. I apologize that I cannot be at your service tomorrow since I am in Florida right now, but I will be at her memorial service next month. Love Eva and Paul Szakacsi.

I cannot state enough wonderful sentiments about dear Ilonka Nanny. She was a striking person. A lady unlike any other. Family was her world. And she was an utter joy to all those fortunate enough to share her company. Her wisdom, kindness, and ever-youthful wit were treasures I deeply revere. Whether teaching you how to crochet, preparing beautiful family dinners, or simply making you a bagel and cream cheese, she was always there for you, ready to love. She embodied a motherly generosity and goodness which moved the heart. She embraced each day as a new adventure, glowing with continuous inner strength and positivity. She had marvellous spunk, energy, and resilience. She was compassionate, humble, and beautiful every day of her life. I'll always appreciate her. My sincerest condolences extend to all family members and loved ones who feel her loss. Love, Carla
