To all my cousins, I extend my deep sympathy in the loss of your mother and grandmother. Aunt Jean was such a special person to me. I loved spending summers at the cottage and was always welcome to make the short walk from our cottage to yours. Aunt Jean was always available to provide snacks, coffee, meals and good conversation. She truly listened and often made me laugh out loud. One of my favorite memories was sharing a jet ski ride with her when she was 80 years old. She told me "drive by our cottage, hit the gas and let's make Reay nervous!" She was one of a kind and I will truly miss her!

My prayers for peace and healing are offered to Jean's family.
I met Jean (and Reay) through my Mom, Jean, who is also a resident at Lincoln Park.
Jean was such a wonderful person - kind, compassionate, friendly and a delight to be with. It was a joy to see her and to have coffee with her, my Mom and Wilma in the lounge whenever I came home for a visit. She was a blessing to so many and will be missed.
May you know God's compassion and love this day and the days to come.
Blessings,
Rev. Grant

Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your Mom. Jean was a lovely lady. Lots of good memories at St. John,s as well as her involvement with the Grimsby association for Community living. The Dysons sat behind the Duke family. It was always fun to watch your Mom chastise the boys. Another good one has left the st. johns family. Blessings Doug and Deb

We extend our condolences to the family of Reay and Jean Duke. We cannot think of them without the other. We enjoyed their guidance and friendship while Reay was our minister at St. John's Church and for times afterwards.
Sincere sympathy,
Dorothie, Diane and J.A. Irish

Please accept our deepest, heart felt condolences. Jean was such a remarkable woman who gave so much of herself to our church. We were honored to have known her as she showed her faith in her many kindnesses throughout the years. She will be missed.

Dear Ruth, Elaine, Franki and family. Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing your mother and grandmother.
I know how much she was, and is, loved and how much she will be missed.
I was so fond of Jean and was always delighted when Ruth would bring her to see me.
I'm sure you will all share wonderful memories of her. I'm feeling blessed to have met such a warm and loving person, who always had a ready smile.
My heart goes out to you all as you mourn your loss. But comfort yourselves with your friends and family around you. Jean is at peace and with the love of her life now.
Best wishes to you all.
