Obituary of Audrey Arrowsmith

ARROWSMITH, Audrey (nee Dayler) On September 20th, in her 88th year, Audrey Arrowsmith peacefully went to join her Mother and Father, Margaret and William. Audrey will be sadly missed by her True Love, Friend and Husband, of 65 years, William (Bill) Arrowsmith. Loving Mother of Frank Arrowsmith and wife Michelle, Kathy and husband Russ Phillips, Rob Arrowsmith and Jane Dickson and Michael Arrowsmith and wife Michelle. Dearest Grandmother of Jennifer, Janet, Jason, Amy, Michelle, Kelly, Tanya, Katelyn, Alex and Beatrice. Great-Grandmother to Lauren, Alxxander, Kate, Nikholas, Madison, Erik, Simon, Xavier and Gavin. Audrey is survived by her sisters Thelma and Bonnie. Predeceased by brothers Jim, Fred, George and sister Dorothy. Audrey and Bill had the pleasure of spending many happy weeks by the sandy shores, with their Cuban Friends at Melia Cayo Santa Maria. We thank you for making Audrey feel welcome in your home. A Special Thank You to the “Friends of Linhaven” for your kindness and support these past two and a half years. Our gratitude to the Linhaven staff, particularly those in the Dalhousie Wing as well as staff in Ward 3A at St. Catharines General Hospital for making Audrey’s final days comfortable. Visitation at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2016 with a Service to follow at 3:00. A chance to reminisce and celebrate all the goodness that was Audrey will take place at the Stoney Creek Legion, 12 King St. E at 4:00 PM.
