Obituary of Julia Fay Coruzzi

CORUZZI, Julia Fay (Berdan) Passed away peacefully at her home in Caledonia on Friday, July 22, 2016, in her 97th year, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Coruzzi. Loving mother of Bettina Slaght (Lawrence, deceased), Harry Coruzzi (Marion, deceased) and Anthony Coruzzi (Shirley). Cherished grandmother of Julie Marson (Giuliano), Larry Slaght, Mike Slaght (Michelle), Sandi Slaght, Amelia Allan (Michael Sr.), Anthony Coruzzi Jr., Karen Coruzzi, Tina Coruzzi, great-grandchildren; Anthony, Daniella (Jason), Brodi (Samantha, girlfriend), Shaylyn, Mackenzie, Madison, Michael Jr., Meaghan, Mike, Layla, Nicole and Shawn and great-great- grandchildren; Faith, Lexi and Lukas. Will also be missed by her step-sister Ethel Henshaw. Predeceased by her sister Phyllis Bartkow and step-sister Alice Robertson. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Prayers at the Funeral Home Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church, Nash Rd. and Barton St. E., Hamilton.
