Passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Ada. Much loved father of Lawrence Jr. (deceased) (his daughter Christina and Jeremy Hoffmann, their son Lorenzo, Gianna Savelli and Ronnie Brydges and their mother Maria Cunha), daughter Christina and Glenn Pearce (their children Peter and Chanda Giacomelli and their children Amelia, Matthew and Sophia, Sammy, Dina and Kerrol Francis and their children Maia and KJ), son Peter and J’Neene (their children Jimmy, Joey, Krista, Zachary). Predeceased by his parents Enrico and Elizabeth Savelli. Dear brother of Joe (deceased) and Nicki (deceased) and their children Rena, Rick, Lida, Charlie (deceased), Josephine, Nick, Marianne and Joey, brother Dino (deceased) and Evelyn (deceased) and their children Linda, Dino and Danny (deceased), brother Gordo and Betty and their children Gordina, Tony, Maria, Damian, Gordon, Lisa (deceased), Ricky (deceased), brother Leno (deceased) and Shirley (deceased) and their children John (deceased), Ronnie, George, Connie, Leno, brother Quinto (deceased) and Margaret and their children Harry, Kevin, Kimberly, Bobby, sister Mary and Nello Federiconi and their children Ramona (deceased), Raymond, Cyanne, brother Angelo (Ping) and Anne (deceased) and their children Mark (deceased), Michael, Jason, brother Harry and Jenny and their children Michael, Christopher, and their families. Lawrence had a love of sports, especially bowling and golfing. He also had an immense love for his children and his family. Special thank you to all of the staff at Juravinski, especially oncologist Dr. Major and family physician Dr. Creatchman. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Vigil prayers 7:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 304 Hwy. 8, Stoney Creek on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
