Obituary of Donald William McGillivray

McGILLIVRAY, Donald William With sadness and loving memories we say goodbye to Don, who passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the age of 84. Predeceased by his wives Helen and Cavell, and by his daughter Faith Marie. Also predeceased by his parents Elsie and Ken. Don will be deeply missed by his wife Marilyn. Cherished father of Karen (Dan), Paul (Caroline), Patty (Darryl), Donnie and step-children Greg (Linda), Glen, Brian (Bonita), Karen and their families. Devoted grandfather of Angela (Greg), Darryl Jr., Kenny, Donnie Jr., Liam, Lou, Loic and great-granddaughter Katie. Donald was born and raised in Hamilton. He was employed with Otis Elevator Company for 40 years. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 1371 Ontario St., Burlington, on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 2 p.m. Private family interment to take place at a later date.
