To the family of Bev Armstrong, Please accept my sincerest condolences. I am the Lifestyle Manager at Meadowlands Retirement Community and while Bev didn't come out to many programs, she was a bright spot in the lives of many here. This week, many of her friends have relayed stories of how supportive Bev always was; always encouraging others not to dwell on the negative or on their aches and pains, but to always look for the positive. She had an engaging and welcoming smile and her genuine care for others always shone through. She will be missed and our hearts and prayers will be with you today. God Bless Dawn McKirdy

Donna and Jan, I was sorry to hear that your mother has passed away. She was such a lovely woman. I looked forward to seeing her come into the restaurant (Kelseys). I had known your mother from when I worked at Tony Romas. She and your father used to come in quite regularly. I used to like when they would wear the same colour, usually a red sweater or top. He was such a sweet man.They always looked so nice. They were such a wonderful couple. I enjoyed seeing you both when you brought your mother into Kelseys, it always put me in such a good mood. Thank-you for bringing her in. I will miss her. I always thought you both must have had such a great experience growing up with such great parents. Please take care and know that you are in my thoughts. Tara

To Donna and Jan and the rest of the family. Donna and I wish to express our deepest sympathy to you and all the rest of your family. When it comes to lovely ladies Bev was definitely at the top of the list. She was an extremely rare and beautiful person who will be missed by all. Sincere condolences are sent to Bev's family at this sad time. I remember the "Parmenter girls" Bev and Lois from my days at Delta Collegiate in the 40's and still think of the two stalwart white homes on King St. at the Kenilworth access as the "Parmenter houses". I have equally fond memories of her beloved Alan who I remember so well as being tall, handsome, and having a terrific personality. It must be such a comfort to the family to known they are together once more.

I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. My heart dropped when I heard. She was an amazing lady. I cherished our Saturday lunches. She always made my day when I saw her. Her smile and her stories will always be dear to me. I know her calling has come, but I just wish she could have stayed with us a bit longer. I am sure the gates of heaven are held wide open for such a lovely lady where she will continue to smile and look down at us with that love you could always see and feel when she was around. My deepest sympathies for your loss. She will be greatly missed and cherished forever in my heart. Love you all Toni Stefanski
