Obituary of Gordon Allen Goodale

GOODALE, Gordon Allen With saddened hearts and loving memories, the family announces the sudden passing of Gord, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the age of 86. Predeceased in 2005 by his loving wife and soulmate of 52 years, Joyce Gladys Goodale. Cherished father of Cameron (Debbie) and Brenda and her husband Tom. He was the loving grandfather of Kristy, Ryan and Brandon. He will be greatly missed by his sister Thelma Baesso and brother Gary Goodale and his wife Ruth. Gord was a kind, gentle soul, who loved a good game of cards and was loved by everyone who knew him. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
