Obituary of (Victor) Russell Laidman

LAIDMAN, (Victor) Russell Peacefully surrounded by family our Dad passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at St Joseph's Hospital. He is now reunited with his "Special Lady" Fran. He leaves behind a combined family including Alice and Ed, Daryl and Hollie, Suzanne with Tyler, Gary and Cheryl, Emily and Colin and Nolan, Tim and Mitzi, Alicia and Alexis, Tim and Karen, Glenn, Crystal and Jeremy with Logan, and Wesley, Christopher with Kayla, Leisa and Mark, Patricia, Brenda and Dave, Jonathan, Brooke and Tara. He will be missed by his sisters and brothers, Bob and Karen, Stewart and Betty, Charlene and Jim, Bonnie, Jim and Annette. Survived by his mother Rebecca Dawes. The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. A. Boyle and the Complex Care team. Visitation will be at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, Ontario on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Service will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery, Rymal Rd. (at Upper Wellington), Hamilton, Ontario. A small reception will follow the interment at the Copetown Community Centre, 1950 Governors Rd, Dundas, Ontario.
