Obituary of Doreen Cardwell

CARDWELL, Doreen Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Kilean Lodge in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband William. Much loved mother of Linda and Brian McGill, Bill and Sharon, David and Cindy, Steven and Nancy, Catherine and George Berry. Lovingly remembered by 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Robert and Terri-Lynne. Predeceased by sister Betty and brother Edward. She will be fondly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff of Kilean Lodge for all of your care and kindness. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
