Obituary of Robert Swain Bigelow

BIGELOW, Robert Swain Peacefully, on April 26, 2016, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Jessie (nee Dawson Reichert), devoted father of Tom, Bill and Ron and cherished brother of Kay Gibbons. Predeceased by first wife Myrtle (nee Hantke) and sister Eleanor Shapiro. Dear stepfather of Barbara Williams (Scott) and George Reichert (Wendy). Bob was a loving uncle, step-grandfather, cousin, mentor and friend. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and warm smile. Proud graduate of Royal Roads and RMC (1953) and dedicated teacher. A Funeral Service will take place at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, May 7 at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation one hour prior.
