Obituary of Arthur Edward Stacey

STACEY, Arthur Edward September 12, 1919 – April 10, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur in his 97th year. Loved and sadly missed by Ron and Annette Stacey, grandchildren Scott (Jenn) and Don (Kathleen). Great-grandchildren Jacob, Ava, Megan and Max will have many cherished memories of their “Great-Gramps”. Very special friend and loving companion for 27 years to Margery Gramada. He will be fondly remembered by Margery’s family. Husband of the late Jeanne (1984), and “special dad” to Yolande (2009). Remembered by Peter (Laura). Predeceased by brothers Harold, Les, Percy, Owen, Henry, Ray, Roy and Ronnie. Art was a World War II Veteran and a retiree from The Beer Store with 35 years of service. Special thank you to Nurse Marian, Dr. J. Profetto and Jane of CCAC. In accordance with Art’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be held at a later date at Mountview Gardens Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff at Emmanuel House for their continued care and kindness to our family. In lieu of flowers, donations to Good Shepherd Centers, Emmanuel House would be greatly appreciated.
