Obituary of Boze (Bill) Karaban

KARABAN, Boze “Bill” Passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, March 7, 2016 in his 73rd year. Devoted husband to Jelica for over 48 years. Cherished and loving father to Tony (Stacey) Karaban. Proud grandfather to Giselle and Ava. Brother to Blazo (Gordana), Stanko, and Njedilco Karaban. Bill also leaves behind many family members and friends in Croatia, and will also be missed by close friends Danny and Nevena Bogdanic. Bill had always enjoyed working on machinery and equipment, even after retiring as a diesel mechanic. He took pleasure in his gardening, barbecuing for his family and friends, and caring for their dog Ruby; but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his two granddaughters. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday, March 11, 2016 from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation to follow.
