Obituary of Myrtle Christena Curow

CUROW, Myrtle Christena (nee McGragh) Passed away peacefully at St. Peters Hospital on January 30, 2016, surrounded by friends. Myrtle was born March 24, 1931, in Orillia, Ontario. She is survived by her son Gary LePage (Stefanie) of Hamilton, grandson Gary King (Diana); great-grandchildren Lilya, Charlotte and Noah King and grandson Jerod LePage. Also survived by brothers Johnny and Jimmy McGragh, nephew Robert (Bobby) McGragh of Timmins, niece Wendy Hoffman of Hamilton, Randy and Tim Jones of Smithville and many other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her second husband Desmond Curow, her parents John and Bessie McGragh, sister Lena Jones and brother William Malcolm McGragh (Mack). Myrtle, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, faithfully served as a full time minister in the Hamilton area since 1969 and was faithful to the end. We thank the Doctors and staff at Juravinski Hospital and St. Peter’s Hospital for their loving and tender care, Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Talk will be held at Marquee Gardens, 1050 Rymal Rd.
