Obituary of Ann Freda Leona Jahns

JAHNS, Ann Freda Leona (nee O’Byrne) November 6, 1933-January 31, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ann Jahns at the age of 82, peacefully at home, surrounded by her family. Survived by her loving husband Oswald, three children, Susan (John), Philip, and Regan (Linda), five grandchildren, Clare (Jimmy), Kristen (Iain), Kara, Marianna, and Rebecca (Anthony), and two great-grandchildren, Anders and Astrid, as well as family in the UK. Ann was born in England and moved to Canada in 1954. She was married to Oswald in 1955 and they celebrated 60 wonderful years of marriage together last year. She worked as a nursing assistant in England and Canada for over 40 years. She will be remembered as an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and as a generous, caring and kind person who was full of fun and life.
