Obituary of Donald John McMaster

McMASTER, Donald John March 28, 1931-December 28, 2015 At his residence in Stoney Creek, in the peaceful embrace of his wife Yvonne, the love of his life for over 65 years. Predeceased by his parents Jean and Alexander and sisters Flora Weatheralt and Jean Rogers. Loving father of Paul (Marylou), Donna Jacobs, Dianna Spero and Jim (Teresa). Cherished grandfather of Christian, Jamie (John), Azza (Jesse), Stephen, Donald (Jasmine), Jonathan (Jane), Amy (Scott), Katie, Krystal (Kyle) and great grandchildren Shae, Joshua, Annie, Parker and Claire. Will also be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. Don was a very giving man with a heart of gold and took great pride in his family. A very special thank you to Jamie Toner for all of her loving care of her papa, “the 1st Love of Her Life”. Thank you also to the staff of the C.C.A.C and the Juravinski Hospital for their compassion and care. Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Service and Legion Honours will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 31 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
