Obituary of James Alexander Dores

DORES, James Alexander March 8, 1924 – December 9, 2015 Peacefully at Arbour Creek Nursing Home in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Ruth Dores (nee Crown). Cherished father of Frances Richardson, the late Patricia Moriarity, James Dores and Rosemary Auld. Loving father-in-law of Gerald Moriarity, Tom Auld, Kathy Dores and the late Bill Richardson. Devoted Grandpa of 9 grandchidren and 13 great-grandchildren. Jim was a proud Veteran of WWII serving as Lieutenant in the Navy and retired from Canada Customs with 41 years of service. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Inurnment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
