Obituary of Dorothy Margaret Linington

LININGTON, Dorothy Margaret (nee Smith) Passed away peacefully at the Clarion Nursing Home in Stoney Creek in her 88th year on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Beloved wife of the late William (1979). Cherished mother to David Linington (Connie) and Greg Linington (Jill). Proud Grandmother to Adam, Brad (Jen), Stacy (Alfio), and Dolly (Mike) as well as a loving Great-Grandmother to Abby, Hailee, Luca, and Daniel. Dorothy is survived by her brother Dennis Smith (Shirley) of British Columbia. Dorothy was a proud and long-standing member with St. Alban’s Anglican Church in Hamilton. The family would like to thank the staff at the Clarion Nursing Home for their excellent care of Dorothy during her stay. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
