Obituary of Brian Stewart Jackson

JACKSON, Brian Stewart Peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, December 6, 2015. Predeceased by his son Jim, brother Paul (Renate) and his parents Murray and Dorothy. Brian leaves behind his wife of 47 years Carol, and his most devoted dog Jake, daughter Lisa (Andy), son Steven (Sharon), daughter-in-law Michelle and his greatest joy, grandson Jimmy. Dear brother of Don (Iris), sister Marilyn (Ab). Brother-in-law to Ann, Frank (Tina), Jim (Kim). Son-in-law to Kay Garchinski. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Brian was a retired employee of Dofasco with 39 years of service and will be sadly missed by his Dofasco friends and his buddies at “The Box”. The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to Dr. Geoffrey Holdway. Thanks for being a great doctor, and also for the personal attention you gave to us at such a difficult time. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Cal Stafford officiating.
