Obituary of Ilija Jovanovic

JOVANOVIC, Ilija (“Eli”) Passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the Hamilton General Hospital in his 56th year. Beloved son of Todor and Milica Jovanovich. Brother to Helen Prosser (Steve). Eli was a proud uncle to Maddie and James Prosser. Eli was also much loved by Kumovi Joka and the late Mile Jovanovich and family, Kumovi Nicola and Dragina Zarac and family. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (149 Nash Road South, Hamilton) at 12 p.m., with The Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating.
