COOK, Jamie (James) Crossley - In his 45th year passed away on November 14, 2015 in Barrie, Ontario.
Treasured father of Lawrence, Jennifer and Rebecca. Cherished son of Bill Cook (Margery) and Judy Yaciuk (Allen, predeceased). Loving brother of Carla (Grant), Darren (Laurie Ann), Julie (Matt), Cameron, Lawrence (Megan), Nathan, Donna, Kim, Lisa (Steve), and Katelynn (Babak). Adored uncle of Taylor, Brittany, Justin, Madison, Mackenzie, Brady, Bree-Anna, Brianna, Lauren, Harper, and Calvin. Predeceased by his biological mother Judith Bessey. He will also be sadly missed by Wayne Bessey, Cherrie (Clayton), Connie (Dave), Diane, Courtney, Lacie, Siobhan, Jennifer and many aunts, uncles and cousins across the country. James worked at United Parcel Service as a driver for 22 years in the Hamilton and Toronto area. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves from 1988-1995. He enjoyed his annual trips to fish camp, collecting coins, and was an avid snowboarder. James always had a smile and a positive comment to share. He would go out of his way to help a friend or stranger in a time of need. His outgoing personality will be missed by all the lives he touched. Visitation will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, Ontario on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery, 2280 Barton Street East (corner of Nash Road), Hamilton, Ontario. Celebration of James to follow the internment at the HMCS STAR/CFRB Hamilton, 650 Catharine Street North, Near the HMCS Haida, from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
