Obituary of Sandra Roxanne Armstrong

Armstrong, Sandra Roxanne It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra at the Juravinski Hospital, on Sunday, November 1, 2015, in her 60th year. After a long battle with cancer, she is now at peace. Beloved wife and best friend of Glenn for 40 years. Loving mother of Wade (Haley) and Sabrina (Michael). Beloved grandmother of Kadie. Sandra will be sadly missed by her sister Jean, brother-in-law Gary and nephew Joseph (Kathy). She was loved by many long time friends, including her extended family at the Hamilton General Hospital. Sandra was an avid animal lover and spent much of her time catering to her furry Pomeranian friends, Maggie and Brownie as well as Tom the cat. She was also a nature lover at heart, who spent many mornings having her coffee with the birds in her back yard. A special thanks to Dr. G. Fraser and the wonderful nurses at the Juravinski Hospital. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
