Obituary of Ines Maria Lafratta

LAFRATTA, Ines Maria (Miscione) In her 93rd year and with family by her side, Ines peacefully passed away at Juravinski Hospital on Thursday, October 15, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Giovanni (1975). Loving mother to Henry Lafratta (Mary Lynn), Nick Lafratta (Enza), and Irene Georgiades (Tony). Nonna will be cherished and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jawn, Anthony (Michelle), Vanessa (Steve), Reanna Crea (Mike), Marc, and Chris. Beloved daughter and daughter-in-law of the late Nicola and Dalia Miscione, and the late Enrico and Irene Lafratta, all of Italy. Loving sister and sister-in-law of the late Antonio (late Benina) Miscione, of Hamilton, of the late Vincenzo (Filomena) Miscione, Fausta (Giuseppe) Lafratta, all of Italy, Archimede (Nella) Miscione, of Stoney Creek, of the late Carmela Lafratta, Raimondo (Fausta) Lafratta, Maria (late Mario) Paolucci, all of Italy. Ines will also be missed by many family and friends in Italy, Hamilton, Sudbury, Toronto and USA. Many thanks to the dedicated physicians, nurses and staff in the ICU at Juravinski. We will always be grateful for the kindness and care received at Idlewyld Manor. Family and friends will be received on Sunday October 18, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek. Vigil Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at St. Francis Xavier Parish (corner of Highway 8 and Green Road, Stoney Creek) at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. If desired, a donation to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
