LUKACH, Linda Eileen
After many years of teaching, travelling with me “sweetie pie” and living a great life. I, Linda Lukach have taken my final journey into the arms of my Saviour. I “sweetie” leave behind my beloved husband Jim, cousins Anne and Charles Riches of St. Catharines, Auntie Babs Pew in Ajax, cousins Rob and Albert Pew, Leslie McDonald in Florida, nephew Mike McRae and his children Madison and Mason in Lewiston, New York, my sister-in-law Liz Joly and her husband Denis in Welland, and my mother-in-law Pearl Myers in Welland. I am following the path already lead by my niece Michelle McRae in Lewiston, New York. I have valued so many people and events in my life such as the “Brock Girls” lunch dates, the many trips and “drinks of the day” with my friend Dzintra from California, the shopping trips, board games and cards with Ann Wingfield and Gayle O’Neal of Hamilton, our sincere and supportive friends Vic and Martha McConville in Hamilton the love and care of my “sister” Sandy Watson of Hamilton. Thank you to my care givers Dr. Homer (retired), Dr. Ayeni, Dr. Fraser and his nurse Tracy, Dr. Wong in radiology, Dr. B. Meyers and his nurse Kathie, Rev. Ralph Lepore, Volunteers and staff of Juravinski chemo suites and Debra Eagles R.N of VON. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 3 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please support the Cancer Assistance Program, 569 Concession St, Hamilton, ON L8V 1B2 or the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, 277 Stone Church Rd.
