Dear Mary Lou Where do I begin.....my boss, mentor and friend. You gave this young 20 something woman an opportunity and taught her all about the radio business. Your patience, understanding and support were always apparent. You were there to protect us when others were not. I will always remember when we would see each other later on at a function / gathering, and the conversation would become all about "age" and "getting older". Each decade was better than the previous. "Thirties & Forties were ok Carm....but life is better in your Fifties"...then it was Sixties. Of course there was your infectious laugh and beautiful smile...how we will miss that too. You treasured life, family and friends. There is no doubt that you will be terribly missed by your family, friends and colleagues. Rest in peace Mary Lou!

How sad to hear of Mary Lou's passing. We worked together at CHML. I had looked forward to seeing her again in August at the most recent CHML reunion. She was a wonderful upbeat person to work with. She will be missed .Dick Drew, Maple Ridge ,B.C.

Please accept my deepest sympathy at the loss of Mary-Lou who I remember well from my CHML days way back when. Although I have not seen her in a long time, I know that she will be greatly missed. She was always very friendly and kind to me, and I respected her very much.

Mary Lou was a great boss I am glad she was mine. She took a chance and hired me at CHML many years ago and it was one of the best things that ever happened to me. I will always be so grateful to her as her decision to hire me took me on a life adventure I will always be thankful for. When I think of Mary Lou I always smile. Thank you Mary Lou. Kim
