Obituary of Cecile Amorosi

AMOROSI, Cecile (DesRoches) It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Cecile Amorosi at St. Peter's Hospital on Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Anthony (August 2007). Treasured and loved mother of Wayne (Linda) of Ancaster, Ron (Agnes) of Grand Prairie, Alberta and Carol Racher (Dave) of Stoney Creek. Proud and loving grandmother of Aaron, Conor, Kim and Heather. Much loved sister of Martin DesRoches, Rene DesRoches, Martha Reid, Rose-Marie Schiratti and Patrick DesRoches. Predeceased by Leonard, Gerald, Richard and Ella. Cec will be fondly remembered by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends and their families. Special thanks to the Angels of 3W at St. Peter's, especially Dianne Holmes for their compassionate care and tenderness shown to our Mom. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, January 18 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Peter's Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
