DOREY, Beverley Grace After a long & courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease, then peacefully with family at her side, on Thursday, October 23, 2008, Bev was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour whom she has loved and served. Survived by Stan, her loving husband of 61 years; sons Daniel (Elaine) & Richard; grandchildren Erin (Dean), Jay (Anne), Brenda (Cam), Jeff, Christopher, Kimberley (Colin), Riley Ann; and great-granddaughter Evelyn. Predeceased by her daughter Nancy Harris. The family wishes to express appreciation to the nurses and staff of Joseph Brant Hospital for attentive and compassionate care. The family invites your visit at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave Dr., Stoney Creek on Sunday, October 26th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 27th at 11 a.m. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Bev was a long standing member of Garside Bible Church and donations in lieu of flowers are appreciated to the Garside Bible Church Memorial Fund or Parkinson Society Canada.
