Obituary of Fr. Ivan Dobrsek S.D.B.

DOBRSEK, Fr. Ivan S.D.B. Peacefully at the Clarion Nursing Home, on Sunday, August 22, 2010, in his 99th year. Survived by his three elderly sisters. Fr. Ivan was a priest in the religious order of Saint John Bosco for over 70 years, serving the last 40 years at St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Parish in Hamilton. Friends will be received at St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Catholic Church 125 Centennial Parkway North and Delawana Drive, Hamilton on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the celebration of the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Burlington. In Fr. Dobrsek’s memory, donations to the Salesian Missions would be appreciated.
