Dear Scott, Jacqueline, Becky and Greg: It was such a blessing to share in the celebration of your mom and grandma on Monday. I (Julie) was reminded of her as a faithful Sunday school teacher at our church. Even up to the past decade she always kept her 'spark', with a twinkle in her eye and a jolly laugh (head thrown back) as people would stop to talk with her at her 'post' in the church foyer :) When we got to know you guys in a more personal way through Bible quizzing and Jr. High, we admired your willingness to have her live with you - a testimony to God's grace in your lives and a good example to our boys as they interact amost daily with their grandma. It's not always easy to be so close, but we will never regret honouring them, and we will cherish even their quirkiest ways in our memories :) Sorry we could not stay after the funeral since we had Doug's brother & sister-in-law here from Saskatchewan. Our prayers are with you still, as we know from experience that there will be much to finish up in the coming weeks and months. Love from, Doug, Julie, Josh & Zac

We were saddened to hear of Muriel's passing. Our hearts and prayers are with your family at this time. We have shared many great times in the past with Muriel and her family. We have fond memories of our times with Muriel and family at their cottage in Muskoka. Muriel was a very special woman who loved to give to others and loved to laugh often. She brought so much joy to our lives just by being our friend. We will miss her. May God who is the God of all comfort take care of your hearts in every way at this time.

We will truly miss Muriel she was a customer that we were always happy to see. She was a woman that loved her family and always told us about the exciting things her children, grandchildren and niece were up to. She also liked to hear about our families and always asked how they all were. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

We are so sorry to learn of Muriel's death. She was a good friend, and although we live far away, we will miss seeing her when we visit in Stoney Creek. She was so gracious and kind to us, and her gracious hospitality ministered to so many over the years. She will be missed.

Our heartfelt sympathies are with Muriel's family at this time. Alex and Muriel were great friends and wonderful people to be around. They thought so much of their friends and made them feel like family. She will be greatly missed by Dennis after 58 years of friendship.

Our thoughts are with you, Scott and Jacqueline, Becky and Greg. It is such an adjustment when a central member of the family passes on. I know that you will be comforted by many friends and family and wonderful memories of a special mom and grandmother.
We will miss her and will remember her fondly. Muriel is rejoicing with her Lord now, just as she has always done. Peace be with you all.
