Obituary of Doris Pearl Deuxberry
DEUXBERRY, Doris Pearl After many years of dealing with numerous medical conditions, Pearl passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 in her 87th year. We give thanks to a loving and merciful Father who has taken Pearl home where there will be no more suffering or pain. Pearl was the daughter of the late Charles Clark and Alice Pergentile. Loving and beloved wife of the late Ronald. Sister of Julia Bell and William Pergentile. Predeceased by her brothers Edward Clark and Robert Pergentile. Survived by sister-in-law Irene Pergentile and brother-in-law Ralph Deuxberry. Much loved and respected mother of Bruce (Carol) Deuxberry and Verna (Gary) Dell. Cherished grandmother of Cheryl (Kent) Beynon, Edward Deuxberry, Alicia, Isaac, and Jeremy Dell and extended family Jennifer Carson-Visentin, Dominique Summers and Bethany Diplock. Very proud great-grandmother to Veronica Beynon. Auntie Pearl to many nieces and nephews. Her involvement in numerous organizations over the years touched the lives of many, Stoney Creek Legion, Girl Guides and Brownies, Stoney Creek United Church, Historic Chapter O.E.S. Stoney Creek and Bancroft Chapter O.E.S. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Philip McGarry and wonderful staff for their excellent and caring manner. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Service of Remembrance to be held at Stoney Creek United Church, 1 King Street West at Lake Ave. on Saturday, January 24th at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
