ALSTON, Sheila Died peacefully on Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at the age of 79. Predeceased by her husband John, and her son Peter, she is mourned by her daughters Sandra, and Deborah (Robin Barlow), her son Neil, and daughter-in-law Donna OConnor. A beloved grandmother, she will be missed by Kevin (Cathy Sheldrick) Burke, Meghan (and Jim) Provost, Jessa and Emily Alston OConnor, and Tegan and Rian Alston, and great-grandchildren, Madeleine and Nathaniel Provost and Eric Burke. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek. To honour her memory, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Foundation.
