Obituary of Gail Patricia Martin

Joining her son in heaven, Gail passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015, in her 75th year, at Emmanuel House, Hamilton. Cherished and beloved wife of Leo for 58 years. Loving mother to Bill (Liz), Ann (Bill) Lucas, Pat (Wanda), Cindy (Gary) Billings, and the late Leo. Grandmother to Shaun, Justin, Jessica (Greg), Eric, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Alannah, as well as a Great- Grandmother to Ella. Daughter to the late Oscar and Ann Clairmont. Sister to the late George, Don (Marg), Bob (Nellie), Gary (Lorraine), and Jim (Mary Ann). Fantastic Aunt to many nieces and nephews, and will also be missed by many family members in Nova Scotia. The family would like to graciously thank the staff and volunteers at Emmanuel House for their exceptional care of Gail and their family during her stay. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Gail’s life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
