Obituary of Sheila Jean Dalgleish

Peacefully at Shalom Manor, Grimsby, on Thursday, February 19, 2015, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Dalgleish and also predeceased by her daughter Susan. Loving mother of Rick and his wife Joan, Don and his wife Dawn, Carol and her husband Ed VanDijk. Cherished grandmother of April, Richard, Kristen, Laura, David, Michael, James, Devin, Spencer, Kathryn and many great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Dorothy Erti (Verge) and Pat Isbister (Earl). Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Sheila was a Member of the I.O.D.E. and was a former committee member of the Women’s Friendship Hour at Stoney Creek Alliance Church Church and was a member for many years of the Glendale Curling Club. We would like to extend our appreciation to the Salvation Army who helped us immensely with our mother through their Mountberry and Meadowlands Day Programs. Thank you as well to the Staff at Shalom Manor for their compassion and care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 24 at 1:30 p.m. Private interment to follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
