Obituary of Ulla Marietta Markovic

On February 12, 2015, in her 74th year, peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family, our dearly beloved and cherished wife and mother Ulla Marietta (nee Tuomi) passed away. She is forever in the hearts of her husband Steve, her children Karen and Matthew (Olga), her grandchildren Alexei and Jake and many relatives and friends in Canada, Finland, Croatia and the USA. Ulla loved her family and loved life. She enjoyed many wonderful experiences from travelling the world to working as an extra on movie sets. Her greatest joy was cooking and baking for her friends and family. Our memories of her are embedded in our hearts forever. We love you beyond all comprehension. Friends and family will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, February 15 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in Donald V. Brown Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 17th at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
