I'd like to express my deepest condolence to your family. George was like my father from Ontario! He never called me by my name, he just called me Son! During my time at Olon, he was kind enough to share with me all of his secrets. I continue to use the works skills he shared with me to this day. A lifetime experience that I will never forget. Unfortunately, I'm out of the country but my thoughts are with the Lill Family.

My brother, he was the best 'big brother' anyone could ever wish for. I was his baby sister and he was the one I could and would turn to throughout my childhood and as an adult; I was never too old to seek out his wise counsel. I was so proud to see and hear from those whose lives he touched over the years. He was his Father's Son, they were two peas in a pod. I will miss you so much George... Your ever loving sister.

I first me George in June 1996 when I started working at Olon Industries. He was a wonderful man with a great smile. We had wonderful chats during our time at Olon. He was very knowledgeable and always had great stories to tell. He raised a wonderful family and you should all be proud to be able to say George was your father. He adored his wonderful wife, Betty too and would often talk of her. RIP George, YOU WILL BE DEARLY MISSED!!!!! My deepest condolences to the Lill family.

I first met George in 1975. I was a young, inexperienced salesman. At the time neither of us knew our relationship would continue to evolve and grow for the next 30+ years. In 1985 Ed Almeida and I convinced George to risk leaving a stable plant manager position at Goldcrest to head up the production of Wrapall Mouldings, a startup company in need of production expertise and leadership. Over the next 20+ years George played an integral role in the successful growth of Wrapall, which later became Olon Industries. Unfortunately, there just isn't enough space here to detail all the "George" accomplishments or stories spanning his time with Olon. Let's just say there were many. George loved all aspects of production, taking great pride in bringing quality products to market. He was energized touring our industry shows in Atlanta, Cologne or Hanover, always searching for the latest technology or next big idea. Yet for me, George's unique ability was not limited to production or the building of products. It was in the mentoring and building of people. He lead by example, persevered when there was adversity and instilled confidence in everyone around him. To know him meant you had to come away a better person. The posted comments of Ian Almeida, Terry Boyko and Lalman Chintaman offer a glimpse into George's character and how truly revered he was within our group. George was one of the most giving persons I have ever met in my life. He freely gave his time, his expertise and sage wisdom without reservation. He had a heart of gold. If you were fortunate enough to gain George's respect he would stand by your side through thick or thin. There were many times during our journey he did. I feel very blessed and privileged indeed to have known the man. He certainly left his mark on me. Deepest heartfelt condolences to all the Lill family.

Dear Betty & Family. Words cannot express how deeply saddened I am at George's passing. He was such a wonderful man and, both myself and John, had so much respect for him as Martyn's father-in-law. He always had a kind word and smile and I have fond memories of him at Julie & Martyn's wedding as well as the many happy times we all spent together with both our families. I know that George and John are both looking down on us all and as long as we have these memories, they will live in our hearts forever. God Bless you all. Thinking of you. Love Beryl

It was very sad to hear about the passing of George. I can remember many Saturdays spent at the shop with my dad and George trouble shooting a new machine or George teaching me about the operations of the shop. George always had something cleverly funny to say and knew how to keep me busy helping out. I know my dad had a great deal of respect and appreciation for the consistent work ethic that drove George. A great guy that gave me many fond memories of time spent at my late father’s business.

We are so sad to hear the news and our hearts are with the Lill family. I will always remember being the long haired kid at the Lill house with Kevin and Steve, Mr Lill was never afraid to offer me some fatherly advice. He never steered me wrong and some of that advice is still with me to this day. It was always clear to me that he cared. To say he was a great man would be understating the wonderful memories I have of a very strong, passionate person. I will cherish the memories Mr Lill has left us.

George and I worked closely together for 20 years at Olon Ind. He not only taught me so much about his craft and expertise in mouldings, he gave me many life lessons also and for that I am forever grateful. George and I shared many lunches, which fondly call story time, we had many good times and a few sad times . He was my pillar of strength. I will deeply miss him but he will be etched in my memory forever as one of the best friends I have ever had. The Lill family should feel very proud to have had George as a loving husband, father, grand-dad and great grand dad. My sincere condolences Terry

I met Mr Lill in Sept of 1987, he gave me my first job interview and my first job in Canada. I use to refer to him as Sir until he told me to call him George. To him I was not just an employee but his son, like many more who came to Wrapall Mouldings. George was my second dad. He was my mentor, his door was always open to listen to our problems. Weather it was family, sickness or work. He was very kind, helpful and polite to everyone.he was an amazing soul. I will miss you and always remember the good times we had, all the advise you gave me. Goodbye may your journey be a pleasant one. Rest in peace. Deepest condolences from Lal and family.
