Obituary of Briton Charles Hines

Passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, in his 96th year at the Hamilton General Hospital. Beloved husband of Barbara McKirdy and predeceased by his first wife Connie, Cherished step-father to Katherine Alexander. Loving grandfather to Andrew, Deborah, Stephanie, and Kristina. Briton will also be missed by niece Helen Gunn and many other nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Monday from 2-5 p.m. A service to celebrate Briton’s life will take place in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Memorial donations it Briton’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
