Obituary of Jim Scherb

Passed away peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on February 11, 2015. Dearly loved husband of Marge and much loved Dad of Barb and her husband John Juranic. Extra special grandpa of Jennifer, who he shared the love of hockey with. Big brother of Ken and predeceased by his sister Joyce. Dear brother-in-law of Liz and Don Osadec, Mary (Bob deceased) Spilchuk, Anna (John deceased) Ozimok and Ann (Nick deceased) Ozimok. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Jim will now be reunited with his beloved silky terrier “Teddy”. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. In Jim’s memory, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. For those of you who are fortunate enough to have a dad, treasure each and every moment because you never know the heartache until you see his empty chair.
