Obituary of Doug Dean

DEAN, Doug Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at St. Peter’s Hospital September 9, 2010 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Irene for 57 years. Dear father of John and his wife Judy and the late Thomas. Loved grandfather of Jessica, Rebecca and Anthony. Brother of the late Gordon Dean and his wife Mary. Uncle Doug will be missed by his nieces Pat, Kathryn Charlotte and their families. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Doug`s Life will be held in the Chapel, Tuesday September 14, 2010 at 11 a.m. (to avoid road construction, please follow Second St. North from King St. turn right on Charles St.) In Lieu of flowers donations to Wesley United Church or St. Peter`s Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
