Obituary of Evelyn Ada May MacGray

It is with heavy hearts we announce Evelyn Ada May MacGray has run the last leg of her journey through life. She peacefully passed February 5, 2015 in her 97th year. She was predeceased by husbands Donald MacGray, Lloyd A. Wilson and son Bruce Wilson. Evelyn will be sadly missed by son Scott Wilson (Heather) and daughter Lois Tapley (Dean), grandchildren Robert (Mandi), Christianne (Jesse) and great-grandchildren Austin, Julianne and Joseph. Evelyn enjoyed her family, good friends, her church and volunteer groups. Even though her journey was filled with challenges, she faced all obstacles with a smile and a sense of humour. The family is truly, grateful for the excellent care she received from the E1 nursing staff at Macassa Lodge. Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday from 2- 4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 9 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
