Obituary of Ronald Lloyd Pottruff

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Ronnie (Ron) on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the age of 52 years with his mom Marilyn, brother Barry and Brenda, brother Brian and Tracey, sister Lorri and Jim Loreti, brother Darrell, nieces Jenna, Marla, Danielle and Talia holding him and with a room full of love. Predeceased by his father Lorne (2012). Ronnie will be missed by his nieces Amanda, Taylor, lots of friends, his dog Charlie, aunts, uncles and cousins. Ronnie loved sports, baseball and hockey, his Canadiens and anything he could watch and listen to. His family wishes to thank the wonderful team of Doctors and nurses at St. Joseph’s Juravinski 4th floor step down Ward for doing all they could for Ronnie and keeping him comfortable. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Glanbrook Cemetery.
