Obituary of Roy Paul Donoff

Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2015 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Gail (nee Harrell) for 55 years. Loving father to Bradley Donoff (Jacqueline), Craig Donoff (Nadine), and Jennifer Scarfe. Proud grandfather to Sarah, Kelly, Maxwell, and Clarice Donoff. Roy is predeceased by his parents Paul and Catherine. Beloved brother to Judy Carrick (the late Harold), and Rick Doneff (Francis). Brother-in-law to Deloros (Mike), Vonnie (the late Ed), Roberta (Gerry), Lucille (Wayne), Iris (Jim), and Valerie (Ron). Roy will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff in ICU at the Juravinski for their compassionate care of Roy during his stay. Roy’s sense of humour and charm will be missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Roy’s life will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow.
