Obituary of Lillian Marie Gionet

Marie was born August 15, 1935 and passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Tuesday January 20, 2015, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Gionet for 57 years. Loving mother of Sylvie (Bill), Carmen (Steve), Ronald (Nenette), Marc and predeceased by daughter Anne (Neil). Dear grandmother of Candace, Victor and Tyler. Great-grandmother of Brittany, Jessica, Jade, and Logan. Great great grandmother of Jason. Will also be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters and brothers and sisters in law along with many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Candace Raposo, Nenette Xaypharath and all of the Staff at the Queens Garden Nursing Home for their compassion and care. Cremation has taken place, A service will be held at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 580 Old York Rd., Burlington, on Saturday February 7 at 11 a.m. followed by a Celebration of her life at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 260 Herkimer St.Hamilton.
