Obituary of Glenn Moir Alexander Fralick
Sadly we announce the passing of Glenn Fralick in his eighty-fourth year, peacefully at Albright Manor in Beamsville, surrounded by family on Tuesday Jan 13, 2015. Pre-Deceased by his parents Moir Fralick and Joyce Fralick (Packham). He leaves behind his loving wife Rita (Fontaine), his children Al (Rhonda), Wendy, Gary (Linda), Mark (Julie), Step children Johanne (Zouhair), Carole (Patrick) and Robert (Carole), his grandchildren Julie (Steve), Kristel, Blake, Alyssa, Carey, Olivia and great-grandchildren Tori and Brynn. Will also be sadly missed by sisters Joy (Gord), Rose Mary and brother Wayne (Judy). Dad retired from Stelco after a lengthy and successful career in the Plate and Strip Division. Together with Rita, he enjoyed retirement and traveled extensively throughout the world, they spent most of their winters in Florida and Mexico and summers were spent at their cottage near Dunnville on Lake Erie. Cremation has taken place, a memorial to celebrate Glenn’s life will take place at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, January 27 from 6 p.m to 9 p.m. Donations to the Albright Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated. A private family interment is to follow. Special thanks to the incredible staff on the second floor west at Albright for their care of and kindness toward Glenn during his time spent there.
